Food & Beverage Director job Singapore Private Club
- Only Americans will be considered preferred with Asia experience
- Club experience as F&B Director needed
- Compensation: a fixed monthly base salary plus a 13th month payment annually and a variable bonus potential of 2.5 months per year provided bonus objectives are met. Other cash payment includes a monthly housing and mobile phone allowance, for a total possible annual cash compensation of approximately*S$223K which is inclusive of housing (S$36K per annum), and mobile phone (S$900 per annum). Employee will be responsible for their own local and foreign personal income tax, children’s insurance and education and annual air tickets to go home. *all amounts quoted are in Singapore dollars. Currently a Singapore dollar is .81 USA dollar.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieve stated objectives in food and service quality, profit & loss responsibility, employee training and retention
• Direct, manage and provide strategic leadership to 6 F&B outlets and 180 staff
• Prepare and adhere to the department’s annual capital and operating budgets
• Provide “on-the-floor” style leadership – focusing on Member interaction and team efficiency
• Oversee internal marketing promotions and activities of all F&B outlets
• Contribute to the overall strategic goals, initiatives, and organizational objectives of The Club
• Must be able to oversee the kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef

Education & Qualifications for F&B Director job:
• A Degree in Hospitality or Restaurant Management, Business or related field
• 10 years of progressive work experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a similar position in the hospitality industry
• Extensive knowledge in service standards and food & beverage products, including wine
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer driven focus
• Resourceful, creative, and able to work well under pressure
• Must be a high energy, hands-on team player
• Experience living and working outside of the US an advantage
• A Degree in Hospitality or Restaurant Management, Business or related field
